Alessia Ardizzone
I am a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Over the past seven years, I have gained extensive experience working in the field of mental health, both within the NHS and the private sector. My work spans across various age groups and needs, allowing me to support adolescents, adults, and families. My therapeutic approach is flexible, and I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), behavioural therapy and Psychodynamic therapy.
Each person’s experience with mental health is unique, and I believe in creating an individualized treatment plan tailored specifically to each client’s needs, preferences, and comfort level. I aim to provide treatment that is not only effective but also offers the quickest and longest-lasting relief from distress. By taking into account the latest research and proven methods, I ensure that each treatment plan is designed to address the client’s specific challenges and goals.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide array of challenges, from emotional distress to complex neurological and physical health issues. I am experienced in helping clients manage a broad spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress, and behavioral difficulties. My person-centered approach ensures that each client receives care that is sensitive to their unique experiences, needs, and goals.
